The Best a Man Can Get Perth Men’s Convention 2009 Saturday 12 September

Do you want to be the best man you can be? You probably answered “Yes!” Any thoughtful man would. But how often do we actually give thought to being the best we can be? Where would we start? The trouble is, we usually start with ourselves. We compare ourselves to other men like movie or sports stars. However, we only see their outward appearance,we don’t see their hearts. If we did, we would not aspire to be them! We need something beyond ourselves to know the best a man can be. And we need to know that it’s possible to become it. At this year’s Perth Men’s Convention, Andrew Heard will help us to look to the only true source of information about humanity that does not originate with us – God’s word. We’ll consider what we are supposed to be, what God’s intention for us is, and see how the Bible answers the question: When is a man at his most glorious – the best he can be?

Andrew Heard leads the ministry team at the Central Coast Evangelical Church in NSW, a church that he helped to plant in 1996. Andrew is married to Cathie and they have four children. He has spoken at several Men’s conventions and is passionate about men’s ministry.

Registrations will soon be open online at <http://ccowa.org/> and brochures are available week’s time.

I look forward to spending the day together as we are challenged, encouraged and sent out to be the best a man can get!Gordon Killow (Chairman PMC)For the PMC Committee: Ray Arthur, Julian Bull, Ross Fraser, Wes Jacobs, Gordon Killow and Michael Van Oudtshoorn.
